Stella McCartney Magic 'Garbage' Fashionable Dress at Paris Fashion Week


AS designer, Stella McCartney could be said to be one who has a characteristic. Yes, in every product design, Stella often carries the concept of environmentally friendly fashion.

Well, the commitment to maintain the environment and treat the waste is shown through the latest fashion show, precisely in Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018. Recently, Stella explore the material made from waste.

"Glamor for self-interest is not something I want," Stella said of her collection as quoted by the Guardian Daily.

Known as a designer who cares for the environment, Stella adheres to ethical fashion principles. In his work, he ensures that all materials used do not harm the environment and the workers who make it.

Last June, Stella announced her collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, an organization whose mission is to stop the destruction of marine life due to human activities. One of Parley's main programs is to recycle plastic waste that pollutes the oceans, such as fishing nets, bottles, and waste debris, into yarn fibers.

The material that Stella would later become a collection of high-fashion as the character of the designer. "Turning something dangerous into something sexy and cool, is not that sexy?" Stella said, as quoted by The New York Times.

For this collection, Stella explains that no leather, feather, skin, or feather material is used. This is due to Stella's support of the PETA organization that makes clothing from nonhell animal materials. Known as a designer who cares about the environment, Stella does cling to ethical fashion principles. Before holding a show in PFW, McCartney first released a collection of ingredients extracted from plastic bottles dumped in the ocean. Along with the Paris Fashion Week event, the label has a partnership with the resale TheRealReal fashion website. Cooperation with the fashion site is intended to minimize the 'garbage' fashion from the fashion-clothes that do not sell in the market.
