Disney and Kipling's First Collaboration
Famous for materials, colors and
designs that include 'weird', Kipling successfully survived for more than 20
years. Spreading more than a hundred branches around the world and breaking the
concept of a lady's handbag that always looks elegant and luxurious, being
classic and comfortable without the need to lose the feminine side.
What's so special about the bag
hanging this furry monkey? What is the secret behind the bag for millions of
dollars to be loved not only adolescent girls to adult women around the world?
Kipling began to stand in Antwerp,
Belgium in 1987. According to Therapy Clothing Company, its official retail,
Kipling's name is taken from Rudyard Kipling, author of the children's story,
Jungle Book. The reason is that early designers Kipling wanted a name that
anyone in the world has no different pronunciation or meaning. They designed
Kipling in such a way with a simple purpose, ie comfort bags for women to use
everyday. Each design is designed to be an icon, attractive and very
fashionable. Since its establishment, the brand bearing this monkey has become
a phenomenon all over the world up to now.
Perhaps that is what makes Disney
Kipling Kangling to collaborate and launch a collection of playful themed
capsules that are inspired by the classic Disney tale. This collaboration
became one of the exciting breakthrough presented by the iconic label of the
'90s era. Previously, Kipling had worked with Urban Outfitters and launched a
limited number of accessory accessories.
Together with Disney, Kipling
adapts the inspiration from the "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" story
and artistically pours it into accessories like backpacks, tote bags, travel
accessories. Motives such as toxic apples to magic mirrors adorn this
collection of collaborations.
