Quoted from Elle, new line of Tommy
Hilfiger will be made special. Stitches on this special line tailored to the
body shape and needs of the wearer. The collection uses magnets and Velcro to
make it easier for people to dress.
One that Tommy applied in his
design was to uses magnets and velcro, so it was easier to pull a shirt off the
top of his head or if you wanted to dress with one hand. The trousers are also
made with velcro and magnet adhesives, while the folds and holes in the legs
can be adjusted to accommodate the foot support wire.
The designer, who also collaborated
with Gigi Hadid, said the new market is part of 'fashion democratization' for
him. With millions of people with disabilities welcoming this news, Tommy also
opens up a great new market opportunity for his business.
Currently the fashion industry is
already beginning to open to the unique beauty of people with disabilities. For
example last April, designers at Vancouver Fashion Week show women bomb victims
of Boston stepped on the catwalk with one leg. In fact he successfully mastered
the stage of a professional model.
There is also a woman who was born
with a rare syndrome named Caitin Stickels who now precisely became a model,
thanks to the photos he liked to V Magazine magazine this March edition. Her
beauty is targeted by Nick Knight, a famous photographer who used to take
pictures of Kate Moss to Lady Gaga.
